Diving deeper into e-com and content marketing: my experience in week two

It's the second week of my internship, and I have realised I'm not very good at being a beginner at something. Although, I feel more confident after letting the first week sink in. While the first week was all about gathering information, this week has been focused on practical experience.

Planning

Monday started with weekly planning meetings to stay aligned and one-on-one client introductions. These personal meetings with my colleagues were a pleasure and an excellent opportunity to get to know them a bit better. Everyone was very open and ensured I knew I could come to them with questions at any time.

During the week, we also laid down a structure and time plan for my eCom sales project and the parallel projects I have with my mentors.

Certifications

Every week, I have eight hours for Hubspot Academy Certifications divided into two half days. This approach helps me fully engage in learning and shows how much Zooma values the growth of its interns. By supporting our education and development, Zooma proves they care about our future success and want to equip us with the skills and knowledge to do well now and in the future.

These HubSpot courses cover very many different topics and learnings. I'm currently taking a content marketing course involving organic content, marketing strategies, focusing your content on different buyer personas in various platforms, repurposing content, and more. In the E-commerce program at IHM, we learn a little about a lot, so diving deep into these topics is a whole new dimension in my education.

Birthday party!

We finished off last week with a wonderful birthday celebration with Zooma friends, colleagues, and clients. I quickly became a party photographer, which is a semi-secret hobby of mine. And next week, I'm going to be an actor for a shoot Zooma is doing for a client. Since I don't just have a passion for e-commerce and the digital landscape, this internship is turning out to be even better than I thought!
