About Metenova, a Repligen Company

Metenova is a manufacturing company specialising in magnetic mixers for pharmaceutical and biotechnology use, and it is a leader in the bioprocessing sector. Metenova is a subsidiary of Repligen Corporation and has offices in Sweden and the USA.

The challenge

In the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, specifying the right mixing equipment is critical to ensuring process efficiency, product quality, and regulatory compliance.

However, the previous website made it difficult for visitors to navigate amongst the product categories or identify solutions tailored to their specific application needs.

The consequence was an extended research time for finding a fitting product. 

The solution

To address these challenges, a new mega menu was created, featuring clearly defined categories, visual product previews, and concise technical summaries to support quick orientation. Flexible website modules and templates were developed to enhance how content is presented across their site.

In addition, an advanced Mixer Selector was developed and launched. In three simple steps, visitors can input; 

  • Vessel specifications
  • Mixing characteristics and fluid properties
  • Mixer properties

The output generates a configuration of the vessel with a product recommendation, with the option to save it as a PDF or initiate direct contact with a technical advisor.

Improved mega menu and new mixer selector

With an improved mega menu and the new mixer selector, visitors can quickly and confidently identify suitable mixing solutions tailored to their needs. 

Since its launch, the Mixer Selector has delivered measurable impact. The conversion rate has improved while reducing research time in the early stages of the buyer journey, ultimately supporting faster, better-informed purchasing decisions.  

To further enhance the user experience and strengthen the brand’s visual identity, we also updated design templates and a visual refresh of the website.
