New Zoomer on board – Hej Johanna!

New Zoomer on board – Hej Johanna!

In November 2018 Johanna Ivarsson joined Zooma as Project Manager. Johanna has vast experience and knowledge in working with online and digital from various industries and sectors.

Johanna's first months have been a fast ride, so I asked her to sit down for an interview. I do hope that you will like it!

What have you done before Zooma?

After I finished my studies in computer science, I moved to Stockholm to work for a digital agency. Even though it was so much fun, and I really learned a lot, after a couple of years I actually got quite homesick. So, after commuting between east coast and west coast for a while, I packed my bags one last time and moved back to lovely Gothenburg.

Why Zooma?

I’m new here and I try to learn everything I can to become one of the pros here. Zooma is a great place. Much because of the people who are working here–it’s the best feeling to be surrounded by kind and smart people.

What does your typical workday look like at Zooma?

As a Project Manager, I’m responsible for things like time schedules, developing budgets and to make sure that people talk to each other. I’m used to handling multiple clients in different industries, and I enjoy coming up with new ideas and to experiment with different things–it never gets boring!

What do you do when you don’t manage projects?

Well, my dream is to move into a barn (and yes, it’s true), that I just bought with my boyfriend. Here you can see some images of my barn

So, because of that, I spend a lot of time renovating and looking at YouTube videos of e.g. “How to pour a concrete floor?”.

Besides that, I spend a lot of time with my dogs and like to walk for hours in the forests.

From all of us here at Zooma–Welcome Johanna!
