Welcome Annika!

Today, we're welcoming Annika Eriksson to the Zooma team. She'll be working as a project and account manager, helping our customers plan and implement their ongoing activities. Annika, it's great to have you on board!

Annika comes to Zooma with a great deal of experience in the world of online and digital. Earlier in her career, she spent 34 years at Volvo Cars working in several roles - from quality and business strategy to marketing and PR and brand experience. Annika played an instrumental role in the company's adaptation to the advent of the internet, responsible for their first websites back in 1995. With the release of the C70 in 1996, she was the driving force behind the livestream of the launch event - which was the first online livestream in Europe.

During a reorganisation in 2019, Annika took her chance to try something new and completely switched careers to become a teacher at a primary school in Gothenburg. Until last week, she was a teacher for two classes of pupils in years 2 and 4. Now, she's at Zooma!

Annika's worked with many agencies through the years and has been a Zooma customer at various points.

But despite Annika's wealth of experience, she's never been on the agency side - so she's looking forward to learning what it's like to be a supplier instead of a customer.

When she's not at work, Annika enjoys appreciating the beautiful nature around her home on the island of Grötö - a tiny, car-free island in Gothenburg's northern archipelago with around 80 residents. She's also a keen knitter and has managed to finish about 50 hats like the one on the image since the start of the pandemic.
